The Aussie Porta Spit was born out of my desire for beautiful food and my love of barbequing, whether it’s out in the backyard, at the local footy, down at the beach or park or camping with family and friends. The Aussie Porta Spit fits conveniently into the smallest of car boots making it easily transportable to your destination. The Aussie Porta Spit is perfect for all occasions and can handle large cuts of meat such as beef or pork, either rolled or a fillet up to 6 kg, a large turkey of 5-51/2 kg or three No 20 chickens. Cooking enough for large family functions, like birthdays and off course the traditional Christmas lunch of turkey and roast vegetables, is what makes the Aussie Porta Spit perfectly suited for every family. Anything is possible if the meat is secure, central and well balanced as friends of mine found out when cooking a small piglet. Remember practice makes perfect and the more you use the Aussie Porta Spit the better your successes will become.
Catering for couples, small families and families with small backyards or balconies is no trouble with the cooking of a small chicken, no: 15 or mini roast being perfect. The whole meal can be conveniently cooked on the Aussie Porta Spit by wrapping vegetables in alfoil or drip trays and placing among the coals. With a little practice and experimenting, in just a short amount of time, will quickly make you the BBQ envy of your friends and family, extremely good results can be achieved by novice and 1st time users. ![]() |
